Background: Dentin hypersensitivity can be characterized as an impermanent pain or misrepresented reaction from the exposed dentin to compound, material, warm or osmotic stimuli in the buccal condition, which would not typically happen in a solid tooth. Materials and Methods: Complete 140 vital teeth for abutment of fixed partial prosthesis were taken for the investigation.
