ackground: Aim of this study is to clinically and radiographically compare the efficacy of basal implant versus conventional implant in relation to its stability, postoperative healing of hard and soft tissue. Materials and methods: A prospective comparatively clinical study was performed in 5 patients in 20 implant (3 female and 2males) requiring prosthesis for missing teeth mandibular followed by implant placed in each group in the Department of oral & maxillofacial surgery DJ college of dental science and research, Modinagar Result: In our study we find the peri implantitis at 3 months in mean value of conventional implant is 2.5 and for basal implant it is 2.17 and P value is 0.04 which is significant. In the same manner in next 6 and 9 months conventional mean value at 6 months is 3.18 and at 9 months is 3.81. Conclusion: In the present study, we clinically and radiographically evaluate the clinical efficacy of implant comparing between the conventional and basal. All the implants in our study were immediate loaded in 72 hours. All the conventional implant loaded 3 months after the placement. total of 5 edentulous patients and dentulous patients and 20 implants were included in the study. This was done with 3 months post implantation and 6 months post implantation and 9 months post implantation follow up.
