Background: Patient-based studies have been done from time to time to gather the patient’s input for the implant as a treatment modality. Dental Practitioner’s perspective of the implant as a treatment option depends on the individual’s knowledge, attitude and practice quotient. This study was done to find out the popularity of dental implants as a treatment choice offered by practitioners in Odisha. Materials and Methods: A questionnaire survey based on knowledge, attitude and practice was formulated. This was distributed among 300 practitioners in Odisha in different experience categories. Their responses were analyzed to find out the popularity of dental implants among them as practitioners and patient’s attitude towards this. Conclusion: A positive correlation between knowledge-practice and attitude-practice was observed. There are various factors that influence the popularity of implants as a treatment choice.
