Abstract

Background:  It is very important to understand the variations in the root canal morphology to achieve successful outcome of the endodontic treatment. Teeth with aberrant morphology often present challenge in clinical management. The article presents a series of clinical case reports of mandibular premolars with additional root canals and the procedural steps of endodontic management. It also emphasizes the recent advances in diagnosis and treatment procedures.
